The ZOO BBS introduces the heart and soul of our famous barnyard dynamic duo. Although the Princess Cruise Line is mourning their loss, so great was their ability to entertain and amuse passengers, the ZOO is happy they have chosen to stay here and entertain our valued patrons. Introducing.....
When not growling around The ZOO making sure that all the
modems, telephone lines and computers are working properly, you will find Pooh
Bear growling around the barnyards, chatting in a most charming and friendly way
with whomever he runs across. And by the way, one of Pooh's favorite things is
cuddling, so if you need a little TLC, Pooh is the one to seek. You'll never
forget one of Pooh Bear's great, gentle, bear hugs!
When he's not here at The ZOO, you might be lucky enough
to spot him a few yards off shore as he cruises past Chicago's Belmont Rocks in
his boat. Of course, he can only do this during the summer; he's not
a Polar Bear, you know! If you see a bear piloting a boat on the north
lakefront, wave. If it's Pooh, you'll get a friendly growl back!
If there ever was an alternate meaning to the word "Party"
it's "Micky." Meet The ZOO's number one party
animal! You'll always find Micky at The ZOO's monthly
gatherings, and you'll always find him right in the middle of all the fun. But
don't get too close unless you want one of his famous smiles or hugs. No wall
flower this animal!
Micky is The ZOO's suburban SYSOP. And when he's not
arranging for one of The ZOO's many social outings, he's at
home tending to the house, the garden, and accepting packages from the United
Parcel delivery man. He lives with his roommate and their two dogs, Winslow
and Studley.
